Obituary for Clifford Allen Clifford Allen, 86 of Castleton Corners, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Staten Island University Hospital North. Born Wednesday, February 3, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Martin and Rose Allen. He was the beloved husband of Anna who were married for 60 years.

Clifford and Anna lived in Brooklyn before settling in Staten Island in 1994. He was a proud Veteran who served in the United States Army as a paratrooper before being Honorably Discharged in 1961. Clifford then went on to work for the New York City Department of Sanitation.

In his spare time, Clifford enjoyed watching television, converting films from his large collection from video tapes to DVD format. Above all, he was a family man who loved to spend time with his children, and most especially his grandchildren. Clifford is survived by his wife Anna, his daughter Cindy Petrigno and her husband Carl; his sons, Clifford Allen his wife Josephine, and Paul Allen; his brother Kevin Allen and nine grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at St Clare Church located at 110 Nelson Ave Staten Island, New York 10308. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
