Clifford Bailey, 94 of Wallins passed away Saturday September 29, 2018 at the Harlan ARH. Mr. Bailey was born June 14, 1924 Wallins, KY to the late Jeff and Mammie Doan Bailey. Mr. Bailey served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

He was a retired coal miner and was the former mayor of Wallins. He believed in the Baptist Faith. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Oma Bailey; sisters, Louise Fisher and Jean Middleton.

He survived by the ones he raised like his own children, Donnie (Linda) Long, Jimmy, Cody, and Kristen Acelinger; his sister, Betty Middleton; he leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Tuesday, (Oct. 2) 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, (Oct. 3) at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Howard officiating.

Burial will follow in the Park-Howard Cemetery at Wallins, KY. Military Rites will be observed by the Harlan Honor Guard. Please feel free to leave a condolence, memory, or photo at www.
