Clifford Gerome Burnett February 12, 1934 – May 06, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Clifford Gerome “Cliff” Burnett, age 85, of Roscoe passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 in Weatherford, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 10, 2019 at Roscoe Church of Christ with Randall Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Roscoe Cemetery with Bobby Soules officiating.

McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cliff was born February 12, 1934 in Sweetwater to the late Vilonger G. and Winona M. (Hutto) Burnett.

He married Ellen Rae Thomas June 3, 1955 in Roscoe, she passed away July 3, 1996. Cliff was a dirt contractor, lived in Roscoe and Nolan County most of his life and was a member of the Roscoe Church of Christ. He is survived by his son; Brad Burnett and wife Ida Mae of Weatherford, Texas, daughter; Dee Waller of Atlanta, Georgia, sisters; Annie Crozier of Abilene, Texas, Valerie Cherry of Carlsbad, New Mexico, grandchildren; Lucky Hollingworth, Emery Luther, Zane Burnett, Keeley Burnett, Brant Burnett, Georgia Waller, Graceland Waller, Joey Waller and five great grandchildren.

Cliff is also preceded in death by a granddaughter Misty Hollingsworth, sister Imogene Good and brother John R. “Buddy” Burnett. Pallbearers will be Brant Burnett, Danny Kincaid, Rocky Kincaid, Johnny Soules, Jimmy Walters, and Rodney Ernest.
