WASHINGTON – Clifford L. Patterson Sr., 70, of Washington, passed away at 11:18 pm Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at UnityPoint Methodist in Peoria. He was born Nov.

18, 1948 in Sommersville, MO to Clifford Patterson and Bonnie Voyles. He married Vicki Jones in Bath, IL on Dec. 22, 1966.

She survives. Also surviving are his son, Cliff Patterson Jr.; 3 grandchildren, Brittany, Brandi, and Logan; 2 great-grandsons, Kolton, and Karson; 6 sisters, Vesta (Allen) Ladyman, Deborah (Ronnie) Ladyman, Lisa Hopkins, Kathryn (Steve) Sherman, Glenda (Kenny) Hampton, Pamela (Keith) Culley; 2 brothers, Marty Hopkins and Lee Patterson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Linda Patterson.

Cliff worked as a general contractor in the Peoria area before retiring. His main passions in life was work and his family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington with Pastor James Frye officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 am on Wednesday at the funeral home.
