OBITUARY Clifford P. Spear October 25, 1934 – September 18, 2018 Clifford P. Spear, 83, of Poplarville, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, surrounded by his family. Mr. Spear was born October 25, 1934 in Freeburg, Illinois to Otis Spear and Eva Warren Spear. He was best known for selling fruit in Downtown Poplarville for many years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Family members include his wife of 60 years, Margaret Lucille Lewis Spear; three children, Gary Spear and his wife Lynett, Terri Mauck and her husband Scott, Sandy Parmeter and her husband Chris; two sisters, Charlene Rupley and her husband John, Barbara Mikottis; five grandchildren, Tanya Wedgeworth and her husband Martin, Gary R. Spear and his wife Brandy, Marisa Mauck, Ian Mauck, Zack Lee; five great grandchildren; a host of adopted and honorary grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 3:00 pm.

Rev. J.D. Speed will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Murray Hill Cemetery.
