Mr. Hardy was born November 23, 1956 in Gladewater, Texas. He was employed with Union Pacific Railroad as a Signal Maintainer.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Hardy of Simms, Texas, two daughters and a son in law, Jamie and Eddie Frantom of Rockwall, Texas, Tiffany Nussey of Simms, Texas, one sister, Gail Wallace of Paris, Texas, one brother, Dwight Hardy of New Boston< Texas, 7 grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home. There is no set visitation.

Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
