Clyde Charles Wauchek, 84, of Casco Township, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at his home under Hospice care. He was born November 16, 1933 to Lyle and Hazel (Borton) Wauchek in South Haven. He married Linda Stennett on October 1, 1960.

Clyde served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He later worked for Everett Piano, Bohn Aluminum, and Warden Case Goods before his eventual retirement in 1999. Clyde was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was a member of the Casco United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death along with his parents by two brothers – Glen Bosteader and Evert Wauchek. Clyde is survived by his wife of 57 years – Linda Wauchek of Casco Township, children – Connie (Dave) Hollis of South Haven, Dan Wauchek of Zeeland, Michigan, and John Wauchek of Mt.

Pleasant, grandchildren – Holly, Jessica, Taylor, and Kyndra, Derek, and Dustin, and great grandchildren – Aiden, Connor, Devyn, Harper, and Asa. Visitation will be held Monday, May 14, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 15, at 11:00 AM at the Casco United Methodist Church with Pastor Don Graham officiating.

Clyde will be laid to rest at McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township. Contributions may be made in Clyde’s memory to the Casco United Methodist Church, 880 66th Street, South Haven, Michigan 49090.
