Clyde “C. L”‘s Obituary Clyde “C. L” Weber, 91, of Hereford passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 in Hereford.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 PM at Victory Family Worship Center of Hereford with Pastors Robert Burton and Carry King officiating, burial to follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. Family and friend visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.

Clyde was born May 2, 1927 in Erick, Oklahoma to Felix and Mable (Taylor) Weber. Clyde has been a resident of Hereford since 1953. He married the love of his life Exa Irene Richards in 1962 in Burlington, CO.

Clyde was a business owner, a welder, trucker, hay bailer, mechanic, but most of all a “Master of Many” or a “Jack of all Trades”. Clyde enjoyed working; fixing bicycles, lawnmowers and helping anyone in need. His family stated, “He was the kindest man we have ever known, he would give the shirt off his back to those in need”.

Clyde was a simple man, who loved his family, his grandchildren and especially his wife, whom he called “The Serg” short for sergeant. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Irene Weber of Hereford; seven daughters, Carol Barnas and husband George of Santa Rosa, CA. ; Brenda Mize and her husband Jimmy; Glena Collier, Carol Moore and husband Randy all of Hereford; Debby Garcia of Dawn, TX.

; Misty Smith and her husband Steven of Tyler, TX. and Amber Maciel and her husband Abel of Canyon; four sons, Clyde Weber, Jr. and his wife Sharon and Craig Weber and Mary Jane all of Hereford; Alfred West and Danny West both of Amarillo; three sisters, Caroline Oates and Mary Ann Coggins both of CA. and Kathleen Oates of Minnesota; thirty-one grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Harlan and Derek Weber; two grandsons, Christopher Barnas and Bryan Steward; a granddaughter, Candace Weber; two great grandsons, Derek Lane West and Lance Persilver; a sister Viola Striefel and two brothers David and Kenneth Weber.
