OBITUARY Coletta C. Cause July 4, 1922 – November 13, 2018 Coletta C. Cause, 96, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2018 at Swedish American Hospital. Coletta was born on July 4, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio daughter of Martin and Mary (Roloff) Morisky. She married Leonard Cause on June 22, 1946.

Coletta was affiliated with Holy Family Catholic Church. She loved working in her yard and especially loved making spaghetti for the family. Coletta’s eyes would light up whenever she was able to be around her grandkids.

Coletta is survived by her son Robert (Susan) Cause; daughter Karen (Larry) Keister; grandchildren Alison (Jim) Nance, Jim (Jennie) Marrie, Heather Henry and Kevin Levins; great-grandchildren James Nance, Maxin Nance, Zachary Marrie, Ashlyn Marrie, Arianna Henry, Kayla Henry, Bella Henry, Evangilina Johnson, Josh Johnson, Trinity Levins and Payton Levins; great-great-grandchildren Jaxson Cobain Hanson; brother Alfred (Lorna) Morisky. Coletta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and three brothers. In lieu of flowers, donation are suggested to the Rockford Rescue Mission in Rockford.

A service to celebrate Coletta’s life will be 10:00 am on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park; visitation for Coletta will be one hour before the services starting at 9:00 am. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. FAMILY Coletta is survived by her son Robert (Susan) Cause; daughter Karen (Larry) Keister; grandchildren Alison (Jim) Nance, Jim (Jennie) Marrie, Heather Henry and Kevin Levins; great-grandchildren James Nance, Maxin Nance, Zachary Marrie, Ashlyn Marrie, Arianna Henry, Kayla Henry, Bella Henry, Evangilina Johnson, Josh Johnson, Trinity Levins and Payton Levins; great-great-grandchildren Jaxson Cobain Hanson; brother Alfred (Lorna) Morisky.

Coletta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and three brothers.
