Colleen’s Obituary Colleen Rustin, of Whiteriver, Arizona passed away on January 28, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was 57. Colleen was born on April 10, 1961 in McNary, Arizona to the late Francis and Rebecca (Potter) Rustin.

Colleen had a wonderful sense of humor. She was always joking and trying to make others laugh. She never met a stranger and after you met her she would leave you with a smile.

She was a humble person, always thinking of others before herself. She was very generous and was always donating to others in some way. She worked for the Whiteriver School District as a Parent Liaison for over 26 years before her retirement on June 1, 2017.

She truly enjoyed working with children. Colleen loved to watch Pioneer Woman, Dangerous Women, 48 Hours and anything on Lifetime. She loved her children and grandchildren and they will miss her deeply.

Colleen is survived by her sisters, Carol Rustin and Polly Clawson of Whiteriver, Arizona; son, Mike Lomayaktewa of Whiteriver; 10 grandchildren and 2 of the “most beautiful” nieces as well as many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lincoln Rustin and Larry Clawson; son, Graygo Lomayaktewa and a daughter, Pamela Lomayaktewa. A viewing will be held from 7:30 A.M. Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Whiteriver Apache Baptist Church with the services to follow at 9:00 A.M. The interment will follow in the Goldren Gorge Cemetery in Diamond Creek, Arizona.
