Concepcion Zamarripa, 98, was called by the Lord on January 3, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Escamilla, sisters: Ofelia Zamarripa & Amelia Amaya & brothers: Pedro Zamarripa, Rodolfo Zamarripa, Felipe Zamarripa & Fausto Zamarripa. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jose Luis (Elizabeth) Zamarripa, daughter, Marial Del Rosario (Ernesto) Santos, 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, brothers: Pablo (Gloria) Zamarripa & Daniel Ruth Zamarripa, sisters in law: Paulita Zamarripa & Olga Zamarripa, nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 5, 2019, from the funeral home to Santa Margarita De Escocia Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
