Conner James Lingl August 27, 1996 – October 28, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Conner James Lingl, 22 of Taylorville, died at 12:00 a.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Born on August 27, 1996 in New Ulm, Minnesota, Conner was the second of four sons born to Daniel and Carla (Sampson) Lingl. He graduated from Taylorville High School and later from UTI in Chicago.

Conner enjoyed working for Central Illinois Trucks in Springfield as a diesel technician. He loved tinkering on big engines and going to MudFest. Conner lived each day to the fullest and would have done anything for anyone.

He had a happy, selfless soul that will be dearly missed. Conner is survived by his parents: Dan and Carla Lingl of Taylorville; brothers: Graham (fiancée, Mariah Rodriguez) Lingl of Kansas City, MO; Dalton Lingl of Taylorville; Owen Lingl of Taylorville; aunt: Glenda (David Worth) Sampson; uncle: Jeremy Lingl; and paternal grandparents: Richard and Joyce Lingl. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Glenn and Lorraine Sampson, and his Uncle Jason Lingl.

To honor Conner’s wishes, he will be cremated. The family will host a celebration of his life, arrangements pending at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with medical expenses.
