Conner Mugnier passed away October 23, 2018, at the age of 22. Conner was born February 13, 1996 to George Michael Mugnier, Jr. and Karen Tomasko in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Conner was everyone’s guy.

His family’s belief is Conner was placed here as a physical guardian angel. His purpose was to touch as many souls to help them find their way here on earth. Conner had the ability to give people strength they never saw in themselves.

He had a great passion for his family and family… Read More » to Conner was not just his blood relatives. He was busy trying to embrace everyone’s lives and make them his family too. Conner’s early years were passionately spent filling his time with his beloved sports.

One minute he was sure he’d be pitching for the Red Sox (thanks to Eric Funk) and next he was going to give Kobe Bryant a run for his money. His last years were filled with a passion for fishing and hunting or just the great outdoors in general. Conner was a Graduate of the great Shields Valley High School Class of 2014.

He had also completed The Montana Clark Fork River Fly Fishing Guide School in 2014 (thank you Donn Dale). Fly Fishing is where Conner found his niche and became an amazing angler. Here is where he found the ability to reach so many marvelous people and give them strength and hope to find their inner selves.

Conner and his brother Mike shared a great passion for body art and music. This is where Conner met and friended the crew from East Main Ink. This was again another platform to touch souls with his amazing powers of making everyone family.

Conner has always had a golden touch and was great at everything he put his mind to. He helped on the family ranch, cooked in the family restaurant, and worked with the team at East Main Ink, but passionately guided floats with Matt Swan and Sweetwater Fly Shop. Conner has left this world hoping his Golden Touch of humanity, equality, strength, and passion will be spread throughout the world.

Conner was proceeded in death by his grandfather George Michael Mugnier, Sr. of Granby, MA; grandparents Robert and Edith Tomasko of Wilsall, MT and grandfather Ernest Laurence of Northfield, MA. Conner is survived by his mother Karen Shockey and her husband “David” Jonathan David Shockey of Wilsall, MT; his father George Michael Mugnier, Jr. of Granby, MA; his sister Ashley Mugnier of Wilsall, MT; his brother “Mike” George Michael Mugnier, III of Wilsall, MT; niece Hayden Mugnier and nephew Olyver Mugnier of Wilsall, MT; step-brother “Donnie” Jacob Donald Shockey of Millbrook, AL; step-sister “Raeann” Bonnie Raeann Shockey of Wilsall, MT; Babchi Christine Lawrence of Northfield, MA. On the Mugnier side, he is survived by his aunts Donna Mugnier, Charlotte Mugnier and Dayle (Billy) Clark and cousins Elizabeth Texeira, Christopher Texeira, Josh Clark and Andrea Clark all of Granby, MA and step-grandmother Cindy Mugnier of Belchertown, MA.

On the Tomasko side, he is survived by his aunt Patrice (Pete) Pierce and cousins Lisa and Jessica Davis of Rising Sun, MT; uncle Robert (Lisa) Tomasko and cousins Ty and Tauni Tomasko of Marlow, NH; uncle Kevin Tomasko and husband Rob Livingston of Hopkinton, NH; uncle Cody (Molly) Dubuc of Boston, MA and aunt Careen (Bill) Cardin of Hopkinton, NH. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend Courtney Njardvik and his friends Liam Galloway, Gregg Broell, Fergus Beebe and countless others. A Celebration of Conner’s Life will be held Saturday from 2:00-4:00pm at the Bank Bar & Vault Restaurant, Wilsall.
