Ms. Connie Elizabeth Lynch, 88, of Tifton passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4th at 11:00 a.m. in chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Dr. Buddy Lynch officiating. Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 4th at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before the funeral service. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Ms. Lynch was born March 18, 1930 in Irwin County to the late Otis Lynch, Sr., and Lucille Stone Tolbert.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Jo Ann gill and Helen Barnard. Ms. Lynch was a member of Omega Methodist Church and was retired from Tift County Board of Education Nutrition Program. She had lived in Tift County most of her life.

She enjoyed traveling especially to see family in St. Augustine. Ms. Lynch loved her family especially her young nieces and nephews. She and her mother were very close.

She loved gospel music such as the Gaither group. Ms. Lynch is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Buddy and Helen Lynch of St. Augustine, Florida; her nieces and nephews, Sharon and Craig Webster, Sheila and Pat McElhinney, Steve and Lisa Lynch, Chuck and Patti Lynch, Jim and Lisa Lynch, Martha and Kenny Jamison, Ben Lynch, Bob and Elisabeth Lynch, Fred and June Barnard, Mike and Karen Barnard, Anna and Gary White; several great nieces and nephews; two half brothers and sister-in-law, Delton and Julie Lynch of Avon Park, Fla. , and Ronnie Lynch of LaBelle, Fla.

Flowers accepted or donations to Jeff Gill Memorial Scholarship, c/o First United Methodist Church, 107 W 12th Street, Tifton, Ga. 31794. Albritton Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
