Connie’s Obituary Connie S. Viney, 76, of Algonac, formerly of Fife Lake entered eternal life on December 13, 2018. She was born on November 27, 1942 in Wolfforth, Texas to the late Robert and Frankie Kennedy. She married Joseph E. Viney on March 2, 1962 in Lubbock, Texas and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage.

After graduating high school and attending college for some time, Connie became a dental assistant for more than 15 years. She then taught for Clintondale Adult and Community Education. When she wasn’t working, Connie was an avid reader and enjoyed taking care of her gardens.

She would go camping with her family or her church group where she loved to sit by the fire and go down to the lake. She was also a part of a sportsman club. Most of all she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Connie is survived by her husband, Joseph of Algonac; her children, Chris (Mary) Viney of Marine City, Craig (Tara) Viney of Ohio, and Jennifer Maladecki of Algonac; six grandchildren, Olivia, Tyler, Mikayla, Alexsandra, Corri Glisbey, and Thomas; and a brother, Jeff Kennedy of Colorado. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Steve Maladecki; and two brothers, Bobby and Jerry. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 12:00 noon in the Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church, Warren.
