GREENFIELD – Constance (DeMinico) Day, 78 of Buckley Nursing Home, Greenfield, died Monday, January 28, 2019 in the Baystate Franklin Medical Center, Greenfield, MA. She was born in Athol on April 15, 1940 to late Laurens DeMinico and the late Josephine (Surozinski) DeMinico. She attended Athol Schools, and lived locally until moving to Greenfield in 1973.

She attended Greenfield Community College and received her Clerk’s certificate. She worked as a Probation Clerk at the Greenfield Court House. She also worked for Franklin County Home Care as a Senior Aide for the Older Workers Program and previously worked for Rich’s Department Store for 10 years, 7 of those in the jewelry department.

She enjoyed acrylic and watercolor painting and pencil sketching. She also enjoyed taking care of her houseplants and reading. She leaves four sons: Mark Wallace and his wife Donna of Greenfield, MA, Robert S. Wallace and his wife Tina of Port Richey, FL, Rodney Wallace Jr. of Longwood, FL, grandchildren; Brandon, Sarah, Ashley, and three great grandchildren; Dylan, Brandy, and Casey.

Constance was predeceased by her son Anthony Wallace and sister Carol Keating. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. For more information or to sign our online guest book please visit www.
