Arthur’s Obituary Fitchburg-Arthur C. Seney Jr., 75, died peacefully Thursday January 11, 2019 in HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster with his family by his side. Arthur was born in Fitchburg, on April 6, 1943 a son of the late Arthur C. and Rena L. (Merriam) Seney. Arthur is survived by his wife of 18 years, Marguerite “Maggie” (Berry) Seney: one brother, John C. Seney and his wife Delia of Fitchburg; one sister in-law, Barbara Seney of Fitchburg and several nieces and nephews.

Arthur was predeceased by one brother, William J. Seney. Arthur was in raised Fitchburg and attended Fitchburg Schools. He was a former member of the First Methodist Church of Fitchburg and worked as a dispatcher the for Lunenburg Fire and Police departments.

Arthur was extremely giving of his time. He volunteered at Burbank hospital and helped clean and perform maintenance at several area churches. Arthur also worked at Whalom Park.

His funeral will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 2 pm in the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 763 Massachusetts Ave. Lunenburg. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home from 1-2 pm.

Burial will be private. John F. Masciarelli, Walter C. Taylor and James M. Hebert, funeral directors.
