Constance Rose Barber, age 65, passed away at her Columbus residence on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. She was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1952. Constance retired after a 30 year career with the State Highway Patrol.

Her interests included gardening and adding items to her display of cat collectibles. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilary. Preceded in death by mother ; Frances Bohac.

Survived by: husband, Jim Barber; stepdaughter, Kim (Dave) Hetterscheidt; stepson: Kevin Barber; granddaughter, Kailey; sisters: Vicky Cox, Mary (Craig) Joseph, Janet (Tom) Winegarner; brother, Bill (Barb) Bohac. There will be a gathering of friends at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Friday, June 1, 2018, 1-3 PM where memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM Friday.
