Corey’s Obituary Corey Blyskal, 45, of Charleston, went home to be with his father on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He was born on September 4, 1973, to Frank Blyskal Jr., and Damona Blyskal. Corey was born in Aurora, Illinois.

He grew up in Dunbar and graduated from Dunbar High School. He then joined the Navy where he served three years in Japan. After his discharge from the Navy, he lived in Florida, Arizona, Washington, Maryland, Virginia and finally returned home to West Virginia.

He loved his niece and nephews like they were his own. He loved animals, both wild and pets. He was very loved by his many friends and fellow employees from the Longhorn Steakhouse, where he worked for many years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Blyskal Jr He is survived by his mother, Damona Blyskal of Charleston; sister, Brandy Blyskal Crocicchia and husband Michael of Red House; niece, Deedra Crocicchia; nephews, Anthony and Jesse Crocicchia; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 24, at his home, 1603 White Oak Dr,, Charleston, WV 25320.

The family requests friends to bring a chair and blanket and a covered dish, “were having a picnic”. Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
