Corinne Eivins January 12, 1926 – January 26, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Gifts Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Corinne Eivins, age 93, a resident of Manitowoc, and formerly of Marshalltown, IA, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at her residence. Corinne was born on January 12, 1926 in Madison County, IA to the late Ray and Edna (Trester) Akin. She was the oldest of six children.

Corinne lived in Marshalltown for 43 years caring for her mother until she passed away. In 2006, Corinne moved to Manitowoc at the persistent request of her daughter. She was an active member of her congregation at the local Kingdom Hall.

Survivors include Corinne’s three children, Larry Eivins, Canon City, CO; Gary Eivins, Canon City, CO; and Pamela (Bob) Blashe, Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Charles) Blair, Macksburg, IA; brother, Keith (Barbara) Aikin, Marshalltown, IA; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings. A memorial service will be led by Mike Ferguson at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4915 Hecker Road, Manitowoc.

Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with burial of Corinne’s ashes to be at Winterset City Cemetery in Winterset, IA. The family will greet relatives and friends at Kingdom Hall on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www. harriganparksidefuneralhome.com Corinne’s family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to neighbors Tina and Todd, helpful friend, “Little Girl” Nicole, and Pam of Aurora At Home Hospice for all the help and care they provided to Corinne and her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Corinne’s name. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting with arrangements.
