Cornell Julian Howard, age 84, of New Market, left a loving family and joined his Heavenly Father on Monday, January 21, 2019. He was a member and Deacon of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of New Market. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Beulah Hamilton Howard; sister and brother-in-law, Alma and Bruce Duck; brothers, Lloyd, Homer, Wesley and Ray; brother-in law, Autry Lowe Sr.; and nephew, Ralph Howard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Frances Trent Howard; children, Steve (Connie) Howard, Doug (Missy) Howard, Pam (Steve) Devotie; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Laverne (Bob) Newman, Eldora Lowe of Maryville; sisters-in-law, Joanne Howard of Knoxville and Carolyn Howard of Strawberry Plains; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Grove Fielden Cemetery at P.O. Box 1102 Dandridge, TN 37725. Funeral service 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Fielden Chapel with Dr. Greg Lindsey and Rev.

Jeff Breeden officiating. Interment 2:00 PM Thursday in Pleasant Grove Fielden Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
