Couquette “Cookie”‘s Obituary Couquette Clark, Cookie to all, 59, of Springfield, MO, died Sunday, February 10, 2019, at 12:05 AM. Cookie was born in Long Beach, CA to James and Mary Atkinson, and married Richard Clark on June 16, 1979. Cookie is survived by her father, James Atkinson, her mother, Mary Montana, four children, the oldest OCD bossy one, Regina Ketel, the youngest spoiled one, Katherine Clark, the only boy, Richard Clark, Jr, and the favorite, Rebecca McElhaney.

Also surviving are her sister, Tina Squires, brother, Chris Atkinson, an uncle, Gregory Franco, 5 nieces and 2 nephews. Her husband, Richard Clark Sr, proceeded her in death. Cookie loved spending time with her four kids and 10 grandkids.

She also enjoyed making homemade gifts for her grandkids, crocheting, animals, spending time with her friends at the senior center, and going to garage sales. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, Springfield, MO. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Noble Hill Baptist Church, Greene County, MO.

Following funeral services, she will be laid to rest next to Richard at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Greene County, MO. Care and arrangements are under the direction of Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. – DeGraffenreid-Wood-Crematory, Springfield, MO.
