Craig’s Obituary Our loving and caring husband, dad, papa, son and brother passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at his home at the age 64 years. He was born August 3, 1954 in Bay City, Michigan. He attended Redeeming Love Christian Embassy.

Craig was strong in his faith which helped him beat the odds of cancer. Craig was employed for many years in the finance department at Western Diversified. He was proud to be a member of the NA support group.

He was a member of the N.R.A., he had a love for the outdoors to include, hunting fishing and golfing. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife, his grandkids and his beloved dogs, Olive and Frank. Left behind to carry on his legacy are his wife the former Susan A. Hayes whom he married, February 14, 2002; his children and their spouses, Andrea and Christopher Irwin, Nicholas Werner, Brent and Jessica Werner; his mother, Charlene Werner; his grandchildren, Landon, Evan, Payton, Ethan and Abigail; his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Mark and Lisa Werner, Tammy and James Metevia, Michael and Debbie Werner, Denise and Scott Majeske, Brad and Jenny Werner; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Mary Lou Hayes, Ed and Ruth Hayes and Faye and John McCollum, many nieces and nephews.

After a long separation he will be reunited in heaven with his father, Louis Werner and his nephew, Marky Werner. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Jeffery Englehart with cremation following. The family will be present at the funeral home on Monday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
