Cristina Urso Of Mount Prospect Cristina Urso was born on January 26, 1931 in Altavilla Milicia, Sicily, Italy to Marco and Anna (nee Chirchirillo) Di Franco. She died Monday, February 25, 2019 in Mount Prospect. Mrs. Urso was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Mount Prospect.

She enjoyed sewing, baking and was a loving and caring Nonna to her five grandchildren. Cristina is survived by daughters, Marie Rizzi and Anna (Ralph) Falco; grandchildren, Julianna Rizzi, Daniela Rizzi, Sofia Rizzi, Nina Falco and Michael Falco: sister-in-laws, Theresa Di Franco, Angela Di Franco, Enza Di Franco and Antonette Di Franco; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Giuseppe “Joseph” Urso; her parents; siblings, Andrea Di Franco, Caterina (Baldassare) Inserra, Flippo Di Franco, Francesco Di Franco, Zino Di Franco.

Visitation Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Visitation Friday, March 1, 2019 from 9:00 am until the 10:00 Funeral Mass at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 700 S. Meier Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Entombment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
