Curtis Marlowe, 52, departed this life June 4, 2018 at Dandridge Nursing Home. Mr. Marlowe was born August 18, 1965 in Youngstown, Ohio. He was a son of Perry Marlowe Sr. and Helen Gaines.

He graduated from East High School in 1984. He was a member of New Zion Gospel Deliverance Church. Curtis was a great handyman.

He enjoyed helping others. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Helen Marlowe; sisters Gloria, Polly, Norma, Marlow, Patricia Burns, and Diane (Lamont) Carlisle; brothers Jerry ( Lawanda) Marlowe, Terry, Kenneth, Perry Marlowe Jr., all of Youngstown, and Harvey Marlowe of Chicago. Niece Adrianna Cunningham and nephew Anthony Santoyo who he helped raise.

Curtis is preceded in death by his Father Perry Marlowe Sr., brother in law Ronnie Burns, and his grandparents Rev. Marcellus and Rev Anna Mae Gaines. A funeral service will be held at New Zion Gospel Deliverance Church at 11 am.

Tuesday June 12, 2018. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Directors at the Conley and Vanden Berg Funeral Home.
