Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. John Keehner at 7 P.M. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home Boardman for Kenneth V. Aguilar, Sr., 75 of Poland who passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon with his family by his side. Kenneth was born March 20, 1943 in Youngstown a son of Vincent and Lucille Ferraro Aguilar.

He was a 1961 graduate of Boardman High School and was one of the first hires at the General Motors Assembly Plant at Lordstown, retiring in 1997. Ken loved playing the trumpet, golf, baseball and later softball. He made lots of friends at 21st Point and Club South playing racquetball.

Ken leaves to cherish his memory his son Kenneth (Colleen) Aguilar, Jr, daughter Donna Chandler, sister Carole (Jack) Melnick of Nashville, Tenn. , grandchildren Cameron, Kelly, Sean and Ryan, great granddaughter Hadley, nephew John Melnick of Cleveland and many cousins. Besides his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by a infant son Keith.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman. Material tributes can be made in Ken’s name to Harbor Light Hospice 4531 Belmont Ave, Unit 9, Youngstown, Ohio 44505. Ken’s family wishes to thank the staffs at Woodlands Assisted Living, Hampton Woods and Harbor Light for the compassionate support.
