Glen Watson Parker Jr. Youngstown – Glen Watson Parker Jr., 54, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Born September 25, 1963, in Youngstown, Glen was the son of the late Glen W. Parker Sr. and Ruth Anne Zachery Parker. He was a 1981 graduate of The Rayen School and attended some college and technical classes.

Glen was a caregiver for Turning Point Residential and held several certifications. Glen was a great father and loved his family and friends very much, He is survived by a daughter, Tierra Parker and a son, Glen W. Parker III; brothers, John (Marietta) Graham, Walter (Elise) Graham, and James (Carol) Roland; sisters, Sandra Williams, Julia Graham Holland, Ruth Ann Parker and Brenda Parker; and two grandchildren, Ke’Miya Bebbs and ShawnTee Fletcher. Glen was lovingly referred to as “Pops” by William Moore, Erica Moore, Tamika Moore and Terrence Hall, all of whom he helped raise, along with their children.

He was also a father figure to Layton White, Nimela Alamin and Phillip Fuzell,Jr. Glen also leaves his very close friends, who were more like brothers, George and Brian McArthur and Fred Ragozzine, as well as a host of other family and friends. Besides his parents, Glen is preceded in death by his sister, Rose Parker Wellington, a niece, Danielle Parker and his grandparents.

Family and friends will be received Thursday, July 26th from 10am to 12pm, with services beginning at noon at the Conley & VandenBerg Funeral Home. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Directors at the Conley & VandenBerg Funeral Home.
