Mineral Ridge: There will be funeral services held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Thompson Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market St, Boardman, with Pastor Mark Bell officiating, for Shirley L. Dangerfield, 82, who died Thursday evening, July 12, 2018 at Humility House in Austintown. Shirley was born August 13, 1935 in Green, Ohio, the daughter of the late Marion and Gladys (DeBolt) Parthemer. She moved to the Youngstown area, living on Erskine Avenue, Boardman and later to Van Drive in Poland.

Shirley was a homemaker and a Demonstrator for Giant Eagle for several years. She was a former member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church in Youngstown and the Canfield Grange. Her husband of over 56 years, Joseph N. Dangerfield whom she married August 25, 1956 died May 29, 2013 Shirley is survived by a sister, Alice Kiser of Champion; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by a sister Betty Jane Slusher and a step brother James Parthemer. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 12:30 pm until 1:20 pm at Thompson Filicky Funeral Home in Boardman. Please visit www.
