OBITUARY Curtiss Andre Rayl May 18, 1938 – September 5, 2018 Curtiss Andre Rayl, 80 of Bolivia, passed away on September 5, 2018 surrounded by his family. Mr. Rayl was born May 18, 1938 in Ohio to the late Price and Ella Rayl. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Rayl was a carpenter his whole life. He had worked in Southport, St. James, and previously in Florida. Curtiss enjoyed fishing, drag racing with his son Curtiss, and NASCAR with his favorite driver being Kyle Busch.

Surviving is his wife of 59 years Betty Rayl, 5 children, Andy Rayl and wife Debbie, Curtiss Rayl, Jr., Timmy Rayl and wife Marjorie, a daughter Tammy Cain and husband Joe all of Bolivia, and Jeff Rayl and wife Sissy of Supply; a brother Paul Rayl of East Springfield, Ohio; four sisters, Joyce Adams, Hannah Rayl, Elva Plantz all of Hartville, Ohio, and Ruth Hanlin of Bloomingdale, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Tabitha, Shawn, Curtiss, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Charles, Heather, and CJ; twelve great-grandchildren, James, William, Michael, Crystal, Tiffany, Jennifer, Theodore, Mason, Ayden, Kameron, Brantley, and Alyssa; and his beloved dog Sassy. Mr. Rayl was preceded in death by a granddaughter Brittany Rayl, a brother Marvin Rayl, and four sisters, Isabelle Dear, Leona Schaffer, Glenna Riddle, and Valerie Hahn. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 8th at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverend Ronald Long officiating.

The family will have visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral Home in Southport. Burial will follow the service in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.
