CW5 John A. Kissel, (United States Army, Retired), a resident of Ozark, died Monday, June 11, 2018, at his home. He was 71. As per his wishes there are no services scheduled at this time.

CW5 Kissel was born February 9, 1947 in New Jersey. He served in the United States Army as a helicopter pilot with tours in Korea and Vietnam until his retirement. Following his military service, CW5 Kissel worked at Fort Rucker as a civilian contractor.

Survivors include his wife, Lesley Cochrane Kissel of Ozark.
