Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Hinson Marshall, 61, of Lancaster, wife of Sam Smith, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Harris Hospice in Charlotte. She was born June 25, 1957 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Marshall Hinson and Mary Moree Hinson. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Marshall will be held Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev.

Mrs. Marshall is survived by her husband, Sam Smith; a step son, Jody Smith of Chester; two step daughters, Jackie Smith of Winnsboro and Jeanie Smith of Blackstock; a brother, Gene Hinson and his wife Marsha of Wilmington, NC; two step brothers, Gene Faile and his wife Kay and Robert Faile all of Lancaster; and four step grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, PO Box 418, Lancaster, SC 29720.
