Dale’s Obituary Dale Barnes, 93 died February 11, 2019 at Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde, KS. He was born on December 7, 1925 in Chester, NE, the son of Ralph and Grace (Reike) Barnes. Dale was raised in Chester, Nebraska.

He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and received the Purple Heart award among many other decorations. Dale married Georgia Knox on January 18, 1946 and she preceded him in death on September 23, 2011. Dale was a partner of a construction company in the 1940s before founding Dale Barnes Trucking Company.

He is also preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael Barnes, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
