Dale L. Young, 88, of Economy Borough, died Friday, January 25, 2019, in the Brighton Rehabilitation Center. Born August 31, 1930, in Baden, he was the son of the late, Walter and Bertha Schwartz Young. Dale was retired from A&P Grocery Store and was also an independent general landscape contractor.

He was member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Marshall Township and was a U.S. Army, Korean War Combat Veteran with three bronze stars. Surviving are his wife Elaine Yurich Young; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jane and Glenn Snodgrass in Satellite Beach Fla.

and Evelyn Warren, Economy Borough and also numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Clifford Young and three sisters, Vernice Irvin, Olive Faltenovich, and Alberta Contenta. Friends will be received on Monday at 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC.

, 1099 Maplewood Ave. , Ambridge, with pastor, David Wood officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army.
