Karen L. Peterman, 62, of North FayetteTwp. , passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 in West Hills Health and Rehab Center, Moon Twp. She was born May 14, 1956 in Sewickley, to the late John A. and Tillie (Medianowsky) Hunter.

She was employed as a customer service representative for Calgon, Bayer, and Lanxess Corporation. Karen was a 1974 graduate of Hopewell High School and received her Associate Degree in Executive Secretarial from Beaver County Community College in 1976. She was member of SS Peter and Paul Ukranian Catholic Church, Ambridge.

Karen’s passions in life included genealogy, gardening, and flowers. She is survived by her husband, Scott D. Peterman, two sisters, Sherry L. Hunter of Imperial, Susan M. Palchick of Mayfield Heights, OH, a brother, John A. Hunter of Hookstown, nephews, Justin Palchick of Mayfield Heights, OH, Greg Peterman of Colorado Springs, CO and Garret Peterman of Las Vegas, NV. Friends will be received Saturday from 10 AM until time of prayers at 11 AM in the John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.

A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM in SS Peter and Paul Ukranian Catholic Church. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
