Obituary for Dale Lynn Utter Dale Lynn Utter, 77, of Roebuck, SC, died Thursday, June 21, 2018, at his home. Born January 15, 1941, in South New Berlin, NY, he was the son of the late Kern Mills Utter and Olive Anna Grover Utter Perkins. A member and deacon of River Hills Baptist Church, Mr. Utter was also a member of the Black Angus Association, Holstein Association, and former member of the American Quarter Horse Association.

He was a quarter horse breeder and a lifelong dairy farmer. He loved his family and the outdoors. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Jackie Utter; sons, Scott Utter and his wife Tina, Mike Utter, and Jeff Utter and his wife Malinda all of Roebuck, SC; grandchildren, Brittany Utter Tate and her husband, Kevin, Haylee Utter, Kendale Utter, Jessica Utter; great-grandson, Brayden Tate; sister, Elma Walling and her husband Clayton of South New Berlin, NY; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 2:00-2:45 PM Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, with services following in the Chapel at 3:00 PM conducted by The Rev. C. Kent Smith. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd.
