Obituary for Dale McKee Snelling Dale McKee Snelling Jr. 66, of Kansas City, MO passed away October 10, 2018. He is survived by his children: son, Justin Snelling; daughter, Mattie Shepherd and husband Nick; daughter Katie Snelling and wife Kristen Jowza; and grandson Franklin, “Frankie” Shepherd; sisters Carol Brennan of Kingsport, TN, Ginny Pittman, Joyce Lara, Jacki Simon of Raytown, and brother-in-law Wayne Allen of Lonejack, MO. He also leaves generations of nieces and nephews who loved him for his teasing and his stories.

Dale was proud of his service in the US Army from 1970 to 1973 and again in the Army Reserves from 1990 to 1993 including 6 months active duty in Desert Storm. Following Dale’s wishes, he was cremated. His family will host a celebration his life on Saturday, 10/13 at the family’s hom.
