Obituary for STACEY AVIVA SOLOMON Stacey Aviva Solomon, 38, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Funeral services will be 1:30pm Friday, October 12, 2018 at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Kansas City Avodah or a charity of one’s choice.

Stacey was born October 13, 1979 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Dr. Steven and Ileene (Frank) Simon. She was self-employed as a Yoga instructor and Nutritionist. Stacey was involved with Kollel and Avodah, Jewish Service Organizations.

She was a very popular Yoga teacher at studios throughout the city, including at the Chabad House. Stacey was a Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Arizona, Tucson, and received her Master’s degree from Hunter College, New York City, NY. She was certified as a Holistic Health Counselor from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, New York City, NY.

Stacey also received her Yoga certification from Darling Yoga, Overland Park, KS. Stacey was very charitable and gave to Planned Parenthood, Israeli Defense Force, and the ACLU. She was a recent volunteer for a national political campaign.

Stacey is survived by her husband, Garrett (Matt) Solomon and her sons: Eli Gabriel and Jonah Sage; parents: Dr. Steven and Ileene Simon; her sister and brother-in-law: Jennifer Simon and Matt Trokenheim and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Bruce and Celia Solomon.
