Dale’s Obituary Dale Shuemaker, 63, of Gastonia, passed away December 26, 2018 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. He was born January 5, 1955 in Mooresville, the son of the late Johnny Doy Shuemaker and Hazel Perkins Shuemaker. Dale was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Gastonia.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was well respected and liked by all that knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of over 6 years, Kim Beaty Shuemaker; sons, Nicholas Shuemaker and wife Tracy Wiewel and David Jewell; daughter, Michelle Craig and husband Shane Shank; grandchildren, Lanee Shuemaker, Jolie Jewell and Caroline Shank.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Barry Shuemaker. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday, December 31, 2018 at Sandy Plains Baptist Church, 5323 Union Road, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Richard Brown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in Sandy Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice (The Robin Johnson House), PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
