Mr. Dane Peter Sorensen of Raeford passed on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at First health Hospice House in Pinehurst. Dane was born in Cook County, Il. on October 6, 1954.

He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Sorensen and brother James Sorensen. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Flora, IL He is survived by his mother, Helen Sorensen of Raeford, a sister Jean Thomas and husband Robert. Two nephews, Christian Thomas, Jacob Thomas both of Raeford.

A private memorial service will be held later.
