Obituary for Daniel Cafarelli Daniel Anthony Cafarelli III of Windsor Locks, CT, died on September 13, 2018 at the age of 70. He was born in Hartford, CT, on February 29, 1948 to the late Daniel and Phyllis (Buckland) Cafarelli. He grew up in Windsor Locks, CT and graduated from Windsor Locks High School in 1966.

He attended Burlington County College where he was recognized for achieving the Dean’s List and graduated from Richard Stockton State College, N.J. with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Danny was an avid music lover and enjoyed ballroom dancing. He also loved to cook and worked at the Skyline Restaurant in Windsor Locks for a short time.

He was employed by Dexter Paper Mill prior to becoming an auditor for the State of Connecticut for many years. After retirement he worked for Swede Jewelers in Warehouse Point as a bookkeeper. He was a member and served as an officer at the Italian American club in Windsor Locks.

Dan was a veteran of the Korean War. He was drafted into the Army after graduation and served four years before he was honorably discharged. He is survived by one sister, Judy (Jon) Guglietta and three brothers, Barry (Trish) Cafarelli, Mort (Barb) Cafarelli, and Joe (Sandy) Cafarelli, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Danny was predeceased by his wife, Jacquelyn (Russo) Cafarelli. There will be no calling hours or services. Danny will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him.
