Obituary for Daniel D. “Danny” Bobrowski Daniel D. “Danny” Bobrowski, age 64, of Amherst Township, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, following a lengthy illness. Born March 11, 1954 in Lorain, he graduated from Admiral King High School in 1972. He then went on to attend Westside Institute of Technology in Cleveland here he finished at the top of his class earning an associate’s degree in HVAC in 1974.

In 1984, Danny moved to Amherst Township where he has lived since. Danny worked for the Laborers Union Local 758, retiring in 2013. Prior to this he worked at Lorain Works US Steel in the No.

4 Seamless Mill and Galvanized Mill for 7 years. He was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lorain where he attended mass every Sunday and also served mass for many years. Danny was an avid runner, cyclist and playing basketball.

He was also an excellent carpenter. Surviving is his mother, Helen (nee Stransky) of Avon; a brother, Walter (Paulette) Bobrowski of Lorain; and a sister, Barbara Bacevice of Lorain. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter K. Bobrowski in 1979.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Saturday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by mass at 10:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 418 W. 15th Street, Lorain. Rev.
