Daniel E. Hone, age 63, of Joliet, met his loving Savior on Sept. 30, 2018. What a joyful day for Dan to see his Lord Jesus face to face and feel His warm embrace.

To cherish Dan’s memories, he leaves his loving wife of 43 years, Kathleen (Marusak); his children, Beth Ann (Matt) Harper, Michael (Ambur), Daniel (Megan) and John (Megan) Hone; adored grandchildren, Preston, Maddie, Payton, Kaitlin and Ella Harper, Max, Ava, Anna, Makenna, Eli, Emma, Riley and baby (to be born in April) Hone. Dan is also survived by his brothers, Ronald, Richard and Robert Hone; his sisters, Anne Welch Stretch and Jean Enyart; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Dan was born on April 1, 1955 in Celina, Ohio to Dorothy (Parrish) and Walter Hone, (both deceased).

Moved to Joliet after graduating from high school. Dan married the love of his life and worked for D&L Industrial. A special thanks to our caregivers and friends, James and Sue Talbot and Guy Walters RN.

and staff at Joliet Area Community Hospice for the loving and committed care they gave Dan. A celebration of Daniel’s life will begin on Saturday, October 6, 2018 with funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am, Reverend Arvin Svenden officiating per Daniel’s wishes. Cremation Rite will be accorded private burial at a later date.
