Obituary for Donald L. Weiss Donald L. Weiss Age 85 years, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Joliet and a life-long resident. Veteran of the US Army from 1953 to 1955.

Employed by Caterpillar for over 30 years before retiring. He was an avid golfer and he loved caring for his dogs. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.

Preceded by his parents Arthur W. Weiss Sr. and Linda (nee Schneider) Weiss; one sister, Doris (late, Leonard) Eichelberger and his faithful companion, Max. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Clara M. (nee Mikula) Weiss; three children, Mark (Eljim Tesoro) Weiss, Linda (Adam Rabyk) Weiss and Paul (Jane) Weiss; dear friend, Gail Marich; two grandchildren, Colin and Rogan Weiss; one brother, Arthur W. (late, Ann) Weiss Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In accordance with Donald’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

All relatives and friends are asked to meet at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM for inurnment service and military honors by the US Army.
