Obituary for Daniel Howard Barnhart Daniel Howard Barnhart, 75, of Little Rock died Sunday, September 23, 2018, at John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. He was born December 4, 1942, in Rochester, NY, the son of Ralph and Mary (Gerber) Barnhart. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bruce and Clayton Barnhart.

Danny is survived by his brother, Lloyd Barnhart and his wife Carol, of Fresh Meadows, N.Y. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Jo Barnhart; his niece, Sara Barnhart Eichmann and her husband Justin; and his great nephew and niece Elliot and Eleanor Eichmann, all of Fayetteville. Danny graduated from high school in Illinois, where his family had relocated during his father’s sabbatical, however he always considered Fayetteville High School his alma mater, class of 1960.

He joined the United States Air Force in 1960 and served his country in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1966 and spent some time travelling around the US before settling in Little Rock. Danny was an artist and jeweler by trade, a Razorback fan, an avid storyteller and a friend to all.
