Obituary for Daniel Davis Daniel Keith “Danny” Davis, 63, of Camby, passed away on October 4, 2018. He was born January 6, 1955 and lived in Camby on Slideoff Rd. all of his life.
He died of heart failure and had been hospitalized at St. Francis at Greenwood. He was at Meadow Lakes Rehab Center for a short time. Danny is survived by one sister, Martha Lee Davis and several cousins.
Preceding him in death is one brother, Kenneth Davis; his mother, Mary (Hadley) Davis; his father, Charles Davis. Danny worked for Sears Roebuck as a Garage Door Opener Installer. In 2011, he left Sears and worked as a Sub Contractor for Jim Floor installing garage doors, openers and repairs for Lowes.
Danny sang in evangelistic work from the age of 8 with his brother, sister and mother. After his brothers death in 1987, he sang with his sister and mother until she died in 2011. Danny has gone on to his reward, now, with the blessed hope of eternal life.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 7th and 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 8th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Pastor Tony Cannon will officiate Danny’s celebration of life service on Monday, October 8th at the funeral home. Danny will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
