Leominster – Daniel R. Bouchard passed away at 90 years old on June 9, 2018, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Claremont, NH on July 7, 1927. He was the son of Edward and Marion (Fecteau) Bouchard.

He served in the US Navy during WWII, and also served with the Merchant Marines and U.S. Coast Guard. Before his retirement Dan owned and operated Dan’s Wholesale Fruit & Produce. He loved camping and had a great love of animals, especially his cat Missy.

Dan is survived by three sons, Lawrence Bouchard and Cheryl, Michael Bouchard and Robin, and Bruce Bouchard and his wife Carol (Parker) Bouchard, two daughters; Nancy (Bouchard) Belliveau and her husband Thomas Belliveau and Carol (Bouchard) Ellis and her husband Leo Ellis who died in 1991, along with eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Dan was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Rita (Miller) Bouchard in 2008, three brothers, Albert, Edmond and Gilbert and three sisters; Catherine, Gabriel and Alice. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, followed by a Prayer Service being held at 4:00 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.
