Obituary for Mr. Gordon E. Poirier HUBBARDSTON – Gordon E. Poirier, 70 of Hubbardston died Monday, July 23, 2018 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner. He was born June 25, 1948 in Gardner, the son of Ernest Poirier and Lucina Poirier. He grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School.

He went on to attend Fitchburg State College. Gordon was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Air Force Mr. Poirier worked at Digital Corporation for many years as a service manager. He also work part time at Home Depot after his retirement.

He was a member of the postcard club in Barre and the Hubbardston Historical Society. He enjoyed postcard collecting, farming, sheep, antiquing,and he loved his animals, He was also a long time resident of Royalston. He leaves his wife, Sandra (Hayenski) Poirier of Hubbardston; a stepdaughter, Jodi Thompson – Campos and her husband Tony of Hudson, New Hampshire and a grandchild, Devin Campos of New Hampshire A Private family gravesite ceremony will be held.
