Leominster – Michael W. Huckins, 56, of Leominster, died September 24, 2018 in HealthAllilance Hospital Leominster. He was born November 1, 1961, son of the late James A. and Ruth (Wiltshire) Huckins Sr. Michael attended GAMMA day program. In years prior, he had attended ARC’s day program in Fitchburg.

He was involved in Special Olympics, enjoyed sports, camping and the beach. He was on the Bowling League for ARC in Fitchburg and the former Bradlees Dept. Store.

He was a member of St. Leo’s Parish. Michael is survived by five sisters; Louise Hogue of Leominter, Stacy Tinker of Texas, Patty Downs of Leominster, Donna Babeau of Leominster, Brenda Eddy of Florida, and two brothers; Walter Conner of NC and Jeff Conner of Leominster. Besides his parents, Michael is predeceased by a brother, James A. Huckins Jr. Michael’s Funeral will be held Friday, October 5, 2018, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster, Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, 357 Main St., Leominster.
