Obituary for Suzanne E. (Jochim) Bean ATHOL – Suzanne E. Bean, 76 of Athol, MA, formerly of Lyman, ME, passed peacefully at Quabbin Valley Health Care after a brief illness. Suzanne was born on July 31, 1941 in Orange, MA to the late Mitzie P. and the late Garnet (Lee) Jochim. She grew up in Orange, MA and was a graduate of Mahar Regional High School with the Class of 1959.

She was very active in many clubs in high school. She worked at the Union Twist Drill until it closed and then moved to Fitzwilliam, NH where she lived for 21 years while working at New Hampshire Ball Bearing. After she retired, she moved to Lyman, ME, relocating to Athol in 2017.

She enjoyed reading a good book, camping and shopping. Suzanne leaves behind her faithful canine companion, Kiwi: many friends and loved ones including her three children ; Margo Best of Spofford, NH, Kristal (Kenney) Porter and her husband Richard of Fitzwilliam, NH ; her son, Eric Kenney of Athol, MA. Her two step daughters; Debra (Bean) Desrosiers and her husband John of New Salem, MA and Tarna (Bean) Bassett of Jaffrey, NH; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward A. Bean and an infant daughter, Bobbi Sue Kenney. There are no funeral services scheduled. Memorial donations in her honor may be made to The Monadnock Humane Society, 101 W. Swanzey Rd in Swanzey, NH 03446.
