Daniel Richard Brooks, 52, passed away August 1st, 2018 from suicide. Dan was born May 25th , 1966 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The son of George A. Brooks and Ardelle Strong.

Dan is survived by his son Scott of Sandy, his sister Heidi of West Valley and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends he considered family. Parley, you are his best friend in the whole world and the family thanks you for being such an important part of his life. He was loved for his quick wit and ability to keep us laughing.

Although he leaves a hole in many hearts, the memories we have will help console us. Dan found fulfillment and joy in his job and loved his co-workers. A Celebration of Life will be held October 26, 2018 from 5-7 pm at the Granite School District Programs Bldg.
